Membership Requirements

Pre- Membership Safety and Verification Criteria

Must be a woman age 21 or older, living in Black Forest or have a storefront in Black Forest.

Must have a Facebook profile which meets the following criteria:

  • Is a real photo of you
  • Has been established for at least 3 years
  • Shows mutual friends and/or local groups in common with the Group Administrators 

New Members Just Joining

Feel free to browse our group via Facebook during your first 30 days and then to stay, attend an event in person within your first 90 days.

After that, attend at least one event every 6 months to meet other welcoming group members and meet the active participation requirement to stay in our amazing group!

Active Members

Attend at least 1 event every 6 months.

Honor Member expectations

Recommended: Host/Co-Host or Volunteer for one event per calendar year.

Member Expectations

Be positive and refrain from controversy or negativity at events and on the Facebook page.

Be engaging on the Facebook page, as time allows, to enable members to get to know you and you them.

Help to generate event ideas.

Be respectful of event planners and hosts by updating your status on events at least 24-hours in advance if you are unable to attend.

No business advertising or selling on the Facebook page unless preapproved by an Admininistrator.

Leadership Committment

Periodically, the Retention Admins will tag inactive members on a post requesting you contact them if you are able to become active in order to remain in the group.

In-active members will be welcomed back when their schedules support active involvement.  

Annually, by July 1, members who have not attended at least 1 event will be notified and given a grace period to meet member expectations if member responds and states they are intending to become active and want to stay.

Annually around Jan 1, members that have not attended 2 events for the calendar year will be contacted and given a grace period if they respond they want to stay in the group and will become active.

Will ensure the Facebook page and events are positive, drama free and controversial subject free.

Will monitor posts and remove controversial content related to religion, Covid, parenting, vaccines, politics and the like. Member support posts for thoughts and prayers are the exception.

Monthly or at minimum, quarterly, active members chosen by leadership, may be Spotlighted to discover more about you, your hobbies, crafts, charitable causes and if you have one, your business.

Participation Acceptance

By joining this group and attending events, you understand this is a private group and Leadership at their sole discretion can approve or remove members, comments, posts and change or implement guidelines.  As a member, you automatically agree to the following: This is a fun, voluntary, social group that events are created by its members. There is no guarantee of any particular number of events and there is no obligation of Leadership to continue the group. Events are created and hosted by members.  All members take full responsibility and liability of any participation in this group and at any events they choose to participate in solely and individually as adults. Any children attending events are the sole responsibility and liability of the parent or member guardian.  Further, you agree to keep member personal information confidential and do not share any access of our group events or information to anyone outside of the group.  Violations can be grounds for immediate removal and additional recourse depending on the severity of the confidentiality of a member’s or group breach.
